Partner & Creative Director of Cartoon Saloon Tomm Moore is joining The Art Departement with a talk about their latests animated feature Wolfwalkers. Apple’s Wolfwalkers is the third animated feature from two-time Academy Award-nominee Tomm Moore (The Secret of Kells, Song of the Sea) and Ross Stewart, and made its world premiere as an official selection of the 45th Toronto International Film Festival this September.

He is best known for illustrated books that deal with social and historical subjects through dream-like imagery, widely translated throughout the world and enjoyed by readers of all ages. Artist, writer and film-maker Shaun Tan has published over 16 picture books and is the recipient of an Academy Award for the short animated film The Lost Thing. He also received the prestigious Astrid Lindgren Memorial Award in Sweden and the Kate Greenaway Medal in the UK. His works have inspired multiple theatre productions, and have been translated all over the world. He has worked as a concept artist for Pixar's WALL-E and designed contraptions for Blue Sky’s adaptation of Horton Hears a Who by Dr. Seuss.
