ATypI is an international non-profit organisation dedicated to typography and type design. The primary activity of the association is its annual conference, held in a different global city each year. In 2023 the conference takes place in Paris, France.

Leipzig Typotage
The Leipzig Typotage is an event organized by the Gesellschaft Zur Förderung der Druckkunst Leipzig. Since 1995, the event has been held annually at the Museum für Druckkunst Leipzig. In addition to typeface and typography, the conference also focuses on graphic design, art, production techniques in the print sector, and related topics. Renowned speakers look at various issues from ever-new angles, in both analog and digital contexts.

Typographics
Typographics is a design festival for people who use type. The annual event series, since 2015, focuses on new frontiers in digital typography. In addition to the two-day conference, June 16–17, the festival also includes workshops, a book fair June 16–18, a TypeLab, and multiple side events.

TypeCon
TypeCon is an annual conference presented by the non-profit Society of Typographic Aficionados (SOTA), an international organization dedicated to the promotion, study, and support of typography and related arts. Since the inaugural conference in 1998, TypeCon has explored type for the screen, printing history, Dutch design, type in motion, Arabic calligraphy, the American Arts and Crafts movement, experimental typography, webfonts, and much more. Special events in the past have included the Type & Design Education Forum, waling type tours, as well as exhibitions of international type and design.

TypoDay is an international conference organized by the IDC School of Design (IDC), Indian Institute of Technology Bombay (IIT Bombay) with support from the India Design Association (InDeAs) and Aksharaya. The conference is dedicated to issues facing letter designers, letter users, and letter educators. The conference includes presentations by invited keynote speakers, eminent academicians, industry professionals, researchers, and students.

Typography Summer Schools
TypeParis
TypeParis is an intensive type design program in Paris launched by the Typofonderie team in 2015. Learn how to design type from scratch and covers typeface design and calligraphy techniques, type history, and modern software practices.
During the summer program, TypeParis organizes a weekly lecture series, which are free, open to the public, and broadcast to the world.

Tipo Italia 23
TipoItalia23 encourages learners to see the alphabet in its myriad forms and trace its evolution to the type collection held by Tipoteca. This program fosters a “typographic archaeology” that can then be translated into digital type allowing the participant to bring Italian typography to their desktop computer.
Tipoteca Italiana offers a program of this format to attract educators, designers, and type lovers to increase awareness of the rich typographic legacy in Veneto as well as the museum’s collection and cultural offerings. Experience with letterpress is helpful but not necessary.
