Encontro de Tipografia
The Encontro de Tipografia (Typography Meeting) is an annual international event held in Portugal that brings together researchers, practitioners, educators, students, and industry partners in the field of typography and typeface design. It features keynote speeches, peer-reviewed presentations, workshops, and exhibitions aimed at disseminating research, fostering learning and critical thinking, and advancing ideas in typography.

DiaTipo SP is an international typography event based in São Paulo and the largest in Latin America! TypeCon
TypeCon is an annual conference presented by the non-profit Society of Typographic Aficionados (SOTA), an international organisation dedicated to the promotion, study and support of typography and related arts. Since its inaugural conference in 1998, TypeCon has explored type for the screen, the history of printing, Dutch Design, type in motion, Arabic calligraphy, the American Arts and Crafts movement, experimental typography, web fonts, and much more. Special events in the past have included the Type & Design Education Forum, walking type tours, and exhibitions of international type and design.

ATypI 2026 Sharjah
The ATypI 2026 conference in Sharjah will be the first to take place in the Middle East, and will be held at the University of Sharjah. Sharjah, one of the seven emirates that make up the United Arab Emirates (UAE), is renowned for its thriving arts scene and is internationally renowned for its contributions to the heritage and future of Arabic calligraphy. The emirate boasts the world's most extensive collection of Arabic manuscripts. These are on display at the Sharjah Calligraphy Museum. The ATypI conference is expected to coincide with the Sharjah Calligraphy Biennial.

letterspace.amsterdam
letterspace is an Amsterdam-based platform hosts since 2018 a monthly series of lectures about experimentation, innovation, and type research.

The Typographic Circle
Typographic Circle is a non-profit organization run entirely by volunteers since 1976 to bring together anyone with an interest in typefaces and typography. The Typographic Circle organizes a variety of type and typography-related events, including a series of diverse monthly lectures featuring well-known industry speakers.

Letter Luvvers
Letter Luvvers is a bi-monthly meet-up of lovers of fonts & letters, and intends to be Bristol’s type forum bringing together professionals, students and enthusiasts to discuss everything type and lettering, whether it’s created in Bristol, about Bristol or enjoyed by Bristol. They share digital project, case studies, traditional printing and typography, our thriving hand-painted lettering scene, and all the other encounters with letters in the city.

The Typographische Gesellschaft München e.V. (tgm for short) is one of Europe's leading organisations in the creative sector. It sees itself as an interdisciplinary expert platform for the playing field between content and form, text and image, design and technology.

Typography Summer Schools
TypeParis
TypeParis is an intensive type design programme launched by the Typofonderie team in Paris in 2015. Learn how to design typefaces from scratch, covering topics such as calligraphy techniques, type history, and modern software practices. TypeParis is open to everyone, from absolute beginners to type design enthusiasts.
During the summer programme, TypeParis organises a weekly lecture series which is free, open to the public and broadcast to the world.
