180 Media Academy is a complementary education programme for students and young professionals in the media and audiovisual sectors, which aims to explore the new paradigms in contemporary production.

The development of digital platforms made the demand for audiovisual content soar. This new phase is characterised by the diversity of formats and their strong influence in the entire ecosystem of production, with a new parallel circuit to the productions oriented towards film festivals. More editorial than technical, the programme offers a transdisciplinary and wide-reaching perspective for the discussion of new themes, discourses and trends that are marking the world this year, and will continue to through the next decade. 180 Media Academy wants to discuss new ways of telling stories that have an impact in society. As disruptive new narratives require innovative ways of delivering, to look at new themes is also to look at how they manifest through formats beyond traditional cinema settings, in different distribution platforms and mediums.
