The fourth edition of FutureFest comes at a time when our relationship with the very idea of ‘the future’ is fraught. For many, the forces set to shape our world seem invisible and remote; from a rise in fanatical nationalism to hidden influences over the media and political systems.

This year, FutureFest invites thousands of innovators to empower themselves by imagining and forging different pathways forward in a volatile world. If the best way to predict the future is to create it, then FutureFest is the place to interact directly with those already putting cutting-edge ideas into practice – across democracy and government, work, health, education and the arts.
