The Munich edition is the very first edition in Munich and meant to be a creative kick-off into the new year. Talk: New Adventures in Responsive Web Design
Abstract: With HTTP/2, Service Workers, Responsive Images, Flexbox, SVG and Font Loading API now available in browsers, we all are still trying to figure out just the right strategy for designing and buildings responsive websites just in time. We want to use all of these technologies, but how can we use them efficiently, and how do we achieve it within a reasonable amount of time?
In this talk, Vitaly will be looking into a strategy for crafting fast, resilient and flexible responsive design systems by utilising all of those wonderful shiny web technologies we have available today. We'll also talk about dealing with legacy browsers and will cover a few dirty little techniques that might ensure that your responsive websites will stay relevant, flexible and accessible in the years to come.

Abstract: Emails are something that web developers tend to dislike building. With 15,000 potential rendering on average for a single email they can be incredibly complicated and unpredictable, so coding for the lowest common denominator is common.place. However what happens what you build for the email clients with the most support rather than the least? In this talk we'll explore what advanced techniques can be used and which email clients they work in. Covering simple image galleries to advances functional shopping carts and 3D gaming, all useable directly in the inbox.
