Config is Figma’s annual conference bringing together designers, developers, product managers, and other creative professionals to share insights, learn from one another, and discuss the latest trends in design and technology.

The event features keynote presentations, panel discussions, workshops, and networking opportunities. Often new cool features of Figma are presented at the conference.

Five main themes Figma is digging into this year

Design in the details: How are you finessing your files, incorporating integrations, or getting weird with some wild effects? We’re looking for craft tips, new techniques, and best practices for pushing your Figma files to the next level.
Future of design systems: From solo practitioners to those working within multi-brand global systems, share your guiding philosophies, frameworks, and any stories you might have from navigating this increasingly complex problem space.
Designing for what's next: We’re looking for those who are paving the way through groundbreaking projects, emerging technologies, or fresh perspectives on the future of technology and design. Share your vision for what’s next, and how we can all contribute to it.
Development & code: Have you come up with new ways to build on old platforms? Found interesting approaches to automate a process? Made an app more performant? Streamlined the handoff handshake with your design team? Tell us all about it!
Build for a WIP world: How do you make progress in an always-in-progress world? We’re looking for stories from product teams about how you’re making work happen. How do you bring your team together and how are you collaborating in the file?

When does the conference begin and end?

Badge pick-up will start on Tuesday, June 20th at 9am PST.
The conference doors open on Wednesday, June 21st at 7am with our keynote beginning at 8:45am (we recommend arriving early to get a good seat!) and Config wraps on Thursday, June 22nd at 5pm PST.
The virtual conference will begin on Wednesday, June 21st at 9am PST and wraps on Thursday, June 22nd at 3pm PST.
