The Art Department focuses on concept art and design for film, animation and games. The Art Department dives into the process of creating and put a spotlight on the artists that are responsible of designing worlds, characters and stories of some of the biggest productions.

The Art Department is a fest focusing on concept art, design and craftmanship in film, animation and games. In The Art Department you dive into the process of creating. The festival puts a spotlight on the artists that are responsible of designing worlds, characters and stories of some of the biggest productions. The festival is set in the industrial venue Vollgutlager in Berlin. Next to a program with artist talks, workshops and panels the venue is packed with a carnival of creativity with an expo, a book market, portfolio reviews and recruitment.
