Postpone or cancel your in-person conference with Charis Rooda

PodcastBy Thomas Dahm,

Episode 36 of the Neon Moiré Show is with conference organizer Charis Rooda on postponing or cancel your in-person conference. Charis is part of the SmashingConf team and organizes since 2017 annually her own non-profit conference Webconf.asia in Hong Kong. Which she had to postpone in 2019 because of the massive protest in her beloved city. In this episode we talk about why postponing a conference is better than canceling. Bringing parts of SmashingConf online and which tools to use to create an awesome online conference experience.
If you postponed, throw out a new date. Because if you don't have a new date, people might think, I want to refund, and that's the least thing you want people to do, because you wants to keep them.
